SBM Offshore chooses water treatment equipment engineered, assembled and supplied by Hatenboer-Water for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO) currently under construction at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore.

Complete safe water on board solutions

In order to produce the required amount of domestic and drinking water, two reverse osmosis type fresh water generators with re-hardening filters will produce 80 tons of fresh water daily. Fresh water is distributed from the storage tanks and passed through multiple disinfection technology cycles in order to ensure 100% safe hot- and cold drinking water at their user points.

LIZA FPSO project

The FPSO will be located in the Stabroek Basin approximately 200 km, offshore Guyana as part of the LIZA development. It is designed to produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day, with an associated gas treatment capacity of circa 170 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of circa 200,000 barrels per day.
