Alphatron Marine equipped an extensive AlphaBridge package to the ultra-modern MV Coralius, the first European built LNG bunker and feeder vessel Coralius by shipyard Royal Bodewes. It is as well the first newbuilding contract in close cooperation with Anthony Veder and Sirius Shipping. This newest vessel will offer LNG bunkering services for Skangas, operating mainly in the North Sea, the Skagerak area and the Baltic Sea.
The wheelhouse of MV Coralius consists of advanced navigation consoles with no less than five 46-inch displays which assists the captain and officers to straightforward interpret the huge flow of information that is displayed on radar, ecdis and conning monitors. Needless to say, such setup will help maximize safety when transporting hazardous cargo. Nowadays you will find large monitors not only on workboat and patrol craft, but has become a standard on more traditional vessel, such as bulk carriers and tankers.
Alphatron Marine delivered the main bridge consoles, including radio desk, containing a complete range of multi-functional navigation (powered by JRC and Transas) and communication (according to GMDSS sea area A3) equipment. All available information can be viewed on any workstation, either in the engine control room, captain’s office, or public spaces of the ship.
